Each summer, we host a community garden for the greater Eliot community.

Maybe you’d like to grow fresh vegetables, but don’t have a yard with good light, or maybe your yard is small, or you can’t dig up your lawn. Whether you’re a member of our church or not, you’re invited to use a plot in our community garden.

The garden plots are located in the vast field in the front of our church, over on the right side. The plots are surrounded by a fence to keep out the many forms of wild life in the area.   Each plot is 4′ x 30′ and a charged hose is always available for use.

If you’re interested in a spot in our community garden, just contact our church office at eliotumc@gmail.com or 207-439-6593 early in the growing season, and we’ll reserve a space for you.  Happy Gardening!
