Faith Formation – We share a love of learning and a desire to deepen our faith and knowledge of God.

We are committed to help our children and teens grow in faith and community through Sunday School using the Living the Good News curriculum, modeling what we are teaching, youth groups, youth mission trips, musical and drama opportunities, summer vacation bible school, as well as many events, trips and retreats.

We also offer many programs for adults from formal bible study and prayer gatherings to Sweet and Sassy Senior events, discussion groups, all church scavenger hunts, our annual Talent or No Talent Show, monthly community gospel concerts, and many more events focused to foster a sense of God with us in community as the Body of Christ. In addition, you may grow your spirit by joining one of our many committees: Mary and Martha Group, Membership and Mission, Finance and Stewardship, Trustees, Faith Formation, including liturgical reading of scripture, worship ushering duties, media support, and Sunday morning greeting duties.  And you can walk our labyrinth, located at the end of our driveway.

While we create opportunities for age specific programing, we have experienced the work of the Holy Spirit when we come together across generations for worship, fellowship, conversation and service. As such, much of what we do at Eliot United Methodist Church is done together across all ages – and we find significant mutual learning takes place naturally through mutual respect and sharing. It is one of the many amazing gifts of a church family.
