Led By God
A weekly playgroup for local moms & children meet at our church on Wednesday mornings from 9:30-11. We start with free play, outside at the playset & riding bikes. Then we enjoy a snack, and end with a craft. If you know of anyone who might enjoy joining our group, please pass along this information!
Join us on Sundays at 9:00am! Child care provided.
A team of youth–the United Methodist Action Reach-out Youth (UM ARMY)–will be staying at our church the week of July 17th and repairing homes in the area.
GROW LOCAL Garden Tour, Saturday, August 5th 9am-2pm, rain or shine. The tour starts at the William Fogg Library, & includes our community garden, here at Eliot United Methodist Church. Visit six local places for ideas about growing your own vegetable & flower gardens & getting the most out of your yard.
Did you grow up in an alcoholic or otherwise dysfunctional home? Addiction affects the whole family! Help is available Mondays from 6:30-7:30pm here in our church library. Adult Children of Alcoholics & Dysfunctional Homes is a 12 Step Program with book study, discussion, and speakers. All are welcome.
Prayer is a way to participate in missions, community concerns, and world issues. You will not be asked to pray out loud, or be put on the spot. Gather with us in our sanctuary upstairs on Tuesdays from 6:30-7:00pm, beginning the week after Thanksgiving, and continuing through January 31st.
OUR MEDITATION GROUP meets on Saturdays, 11:00am-noon. Those of us who attend this group are finding it to be a life-changing experience. Join us any time you can!
We continue to collect fruit cups, pack and deliver bags one week each month for the End 68 Hours of Hunger program. There are currently around 20 Eliot children being fed over the weekends through your support. Please bring donations to our church’s Fellowship Hall.
